Honda Riding Assist-e Self-Balancing Motorcycle

Earlier this year at CES, Honda unveiled their self-balancing concept motorcycle based on UNI-CUB technology and it was impressive to say the least. The riding assist technology from that first bike has evolved for the new Honda Riding Assist-e self-balancing concept motorcycle that’s set to be unveiled at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show that kicks off later this month on October 27. Honda is probably going to keep all the nitty-gritty details close to the vest until the actual release at the show, but there are a few things you can pick out from the limited amount of information and photos currently available. The bike will have at least 4 different modes. It has a single-sided swingarm at the rear. The riding assist system that Honda seems to be pushing appears to be completely separate from the electric powertrain.
