There is absolutely nothing practical about this “mini guitar skillet.” Normally, kitchenware is supposed to be practical, but we’re going to make a special exception in the case of this 11″ guitar skillet. Lodge makes this cast iron beauty in their Tennessee foundry and describes it as being perfect for biscuits, cornbread and scones. We don’t cook any of those things. Since it’s 11″ end to end there definitely isn’t enough room to cook steaks in it either because you can only really use the body. And yet, we’re still infatuated with this thing because it’s a skillet that looks like a guitar. You only have to make one omelette in this skillet while listening to Skillet to make it worthwhile.
