In 1919, W.O. Bentley built his first car, which means his eponymous car company is celebrating a 100 year anniversary this year. We’ve seen plenty of brands celebrate anniversaries in interesting ways, but Bentley is really pulling out the stops for the Centenary celebration. All of the cars rolling out of the factory this year can be customized with new design options like trim badges, metallic finishes and Centenary Gold accents like contrast stitching. They’ve also teamed up with Breitling for a pair of limited edition watches that pay homage to Bentley’s luxurious car details. The first thing you’re sure to notice is the brown burl elm wooden dial that was inspired by the wooden dashboard of the 1929 Blower Bentley–also the oldest car to ever be driven in the Gumball 3000–with contrasting rose gold or silver accents and black and white subdials. Each one of the watches is powered by an in-house Caliber 01 movement and comes on either a stainless bracelet or a brown quilted calfskin strap.
