When Warner Brothers released the first IT teaser trailer we were shocked, terrified and also appalled at ourselves because we thought we got over our fear of clowns ages ago. Things aren’t getting any better with the release of IT Official Trailer 1. In fact, they’re getting a whole helluva lot worse. If Tim Curry’s portrayal of Pennywise gave you nightmares, Bill Skarsgård’s turn as Pennywise is going to scare you for life. Pay close attention to the trailer because there are plenty of other hidden gems for those of you who have read the book or seen the miniseries. Based on what we’ve seen in this trailer, and the parts of the original mini-series that we actually remember, this film is going to be fucking terrifying. IT is supposed to be the first piece of the planned duology of films (the second will tackle the kids returning after they’ve grown up) and will be released on September 8.
