OYO Ballo Speaker

As you’re well aware, we’re all about the latest and greatest. Mini-computers with fruit badges worn as watches. TVs that come with their own glasses. Entertainment systems that connect to wi-fi, your home computer, and stream your definitely-not-pirated movies to you on your phone half way across the wold. But sometimes, products come along that are so focused on minimal design and good looks that they only do one thing. We’re fine with those things too–as long as they look as good as the Bernhard Burkard designed Ballo Speaker from brand OYO (Objects You Obsess). On the outside, Ballo is two polycarbonate hemispheres sealed with a colorful belt available in one of ten different colors. On the inside, it houses a rechargeable Lithium battery, the speaker and the electronics necessary to connect your phone/laptop/tablet with a 3.5mm cable. The fancy golf ball / top of a microphone sized Ballo can be yours for less than a night out on the town.
