The Lofree Poison Speaker Mixes Modern Tech With Vintage Design
In case their typewriter-inspired keyboard wasn’t indication enough, Lofree is back with the Poison Speaker to prove they’re the masters of mixing modern tech with vintage design. Being able to go old school with a functional FM radio (88-108MHz) and dial is definitely cool in a kitschy sort of way, but it’s the modern tech that makes the Lofree Poison another welcome addition to the Bluetooth speaker pantheon. The ‘50s style speaker packs two 10-watt amplifiers and an ultra large diaphragm in the back to make sure the mids, highs and lows of your music are all present whether you’re listening over Bluetooth or through an AUX cable. And with a 2000mAh battery you’ll get up to six hours of playback time for all your favorite tracks. The Lofree Poison Speaker crushed its Kickstarter funding goal and is estimated to be delivered to backers in September. It’s available in Venetian Red, Pure White, Olive Green and Turquoise Blue colorways.
