Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 8

Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 8

The iDock party has been going on since Apple’s device arsenal was limited to iPods only. Leave it to Bang & Olufsen to arrive last and show everyone up when they do. The BeoSound 8 has propriety conical drivers, high-performance amplifierrs and the same sort of crazy engineering (it changes sound profile based on where it is in the room) you’ve come to expect from Bang & Olufsen. It also happens to be 2 dimensional… kind of. It’s almost flat, so it can find a home wherever you want it. Even if that means mounting it to a wall in the commode. It also works with the iPad out of the box, which isn’t normally the case for these docks. The engineering and design features are almost as impressive as the astronomical price tag. It also happens to look like, well, you can figure that out for yourself.
