Upcycle Motor Garage Ducati 998 Retro Sportbike

Upcycle Motor Garage Ducati 998 Retro Sportbike

The Ducati 998 Motorcycle is an iconic bike in its own right, but it’s also a platform just begging to be customized. That’s where Upcycle Motor Garage comes in. Johnny Nguyen from California’s Upcycle Motor Garage has once again–looking at you UMG Suzuki GS650 Beach Cruiser–taken a bike we were already in love with, in this case the Ducati 998, and transformed it into something otherworldly with the Upcycle Motor Garage Ducati 998 Retro Sportbike you see here. Equal parts cafe racer, bobber, scrambler and tracker, this bike combines the angular and familiar Ducatti tubular structure and tank with new paint schemes and fiberglass pieces to create a bike that feels familiar while still being completely different. As if that wasn’t enough, out at the back, the completely re-worked rear frame forms a stubby tail with a low exhaust that supports the six-spoke white wheels and the waffle-weave brown leather seat that matches the grips. If you want a bike with modern performance and retro style that’s unlike anything else on the road, this is it.
