All motorcycles are for the warmer months, right? Well, this modded GS650 is especially so. Johnny Nguyen from California’s Upcycle Motor Garage made it is personal project, and the result is near-perfect. The base bike was a 1981 GS650 GL with just 1,100 miles on it, not something you come across every day. Every bit of the bike has been changed including dropped forks, a floating seat, new subframe, a rear monoshock, custom four-in-one exhaust pipes, and stunning white star-spoked wheels. The ‘surf blue’ paint on the tank and the gorgeous brown Biltwell grips add that extra dose of summer fun. It’s a special bike that makes us all want 80-degree temps and lazy days at the beach after cruising for street food.

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
