The bicycle company VANMOOF might have a peculiar name, but they make one hell of a bicycle. The 5.7 was a great seven gear ride. The No. 3 stole the show of the New Amsterdam Bike Show. The single speed VANMOOF Bike in black was a simple iteration of a classic. VANMOOF is back with an electric bike that doesn’t look or feel like there are any batteries or engines involved. The entire bike weighs around 40lbs with a 75 mile range and 20mph engine and a battery hidden inside the frame. The smart bike with electric assist also includes a smartphone app and Bluetooth remote that gives you access to hand locking and unlocking features along with a tracking system (including anti-theft screws and nuts). All of these features are built into a silhouette that, while powered, doesn’t look much different than the VANMOOF bike silhouettes you’re already familiar with.
