We’ve been fans of Andrew Capener’s typography-focused versions of Scrabble since he started making them. (Here’s the first version, and here’s the second version.) If we have one complaint, however, it’s that the games were really made for the collector, the superfan of stylish fonts and competitive gaming with an empty display case beckoning for something to hold. Well, not any more. With the release of the Scrabble Typography 3rd Edition, anyone with a passing interest in typography, a regular game night, and fifty bucks can snag one. Included are 12 new fonts and a freshly designed board that’s more colorful and less delicate.
