The Canned Coffee That Gets Me Through Each Afternoon

The Canned Coffee That Gets Me Through Each Afternoon

In my house, there are two distinct coffee moments each day: the 7 a.m. brew and the 3 p.m. treat. The former is a slow, deliberate, and tactile experience with tools I love getting my hands on—grinding beans in a Fellow Ode Brew and filling up a Moccamaster. I stand still for four delicious minutes. Time stalls. Notes of cocoa, caramel, and dried fruit fill the kitchen. A good life is full of inefficiencies you choose.

In the afternoon, however, I have no such time for frivolous things; I probably have about 30 seconds between calls. So I’ve been cracking open a can of Beekeeper Coffee, a ready-to-drink latte, which comes in a variety pack of caramel, mocha, vanilla, and plain cold-brew options. (I like the mocha best, but they’re all tasty.) It’s sweetened with honey, a welcome deviation from your standard simple syrup. Each can is a little gift I look forward to just as much as the morning routine.
