Despite the fact the temperature is starting to drop into the more frigid numbers, you don’t have to stop cooking outside… as long as you have the right hardware. The Gozney Black Edition Outdoor Oven we covered previously is one of those pieces that will help you make it through the winter while still cooking outside, but the recently unveiled Gozney Dome Outdoor Oven improves on its predecessor in almost every way. The wood-fired Gozney Dome can hit temperatures up to 950º for quick and fast cooks and sears on things like Neapolitan pizzas or steaks, while also being capable of low and slow cooking for everything else. What’s more, it’s equipped with a gas burner to heat the satellite components, a digital thermometer for easy temperature reading and a patented air ventilation system that puts even the most bespoke home built options to shame. In other words, whether you’re roasting, steaming, smoking or baking, this wood-fired oven gives you unrivaled performance and unlimited possibilities–without a ridiculous learning curve. With external dimensions of 26″ x 24.8″ x 28.8″ and a weight close to 150lbs it’s not something you’re going to want to be moving around, but the 16.1″ wide x 5.1″ tall oven mouth makes sure you’ll be cooking everything you can dream up once you find a home for it. The Gozney Dome is available for pre-order now in both bone and olive colorways with an expected delivery date of March 2021.
