You probably know more brand logos than you imagine. If you need proof, sit down for a game of Scrabble and break out the Scrabble Corporate Edition. Designed by artist Emmanuel Laflamme, the Scrabble Corporate Edition is a lot like the Scrabble Typography Edition that Andrew Capener made back in the day. The difference, of course, is that instead of different fonts you could pull from a Word menu, Laflamme chose to go with letters from brand logos. The first thing you’ll notice is just how many of the laser cut wood tiles you recognize. Then you can lightly weep, realizing the brands have won. Unfortunately, the Scrabble Corporate Edition was a one-off Laflamme created and sold. Here’s to hoping he decides to do a run of them.
