Electric car wiz, L.A. traffic hater, and flamethrower enthusiast Elon Musk is on to his next venture—sending his Tesla Roadster into space. Why? Who cares? Musk took to YouTube yesterday to share a video of how he sees this all going down, complete with a David Bowie soundtrack and animation of the entire journey for his red Tesla. Strapped to the front of a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, Musk’s car will hit speeds of 25,200 mph, obliterating land records, even if such comparisons are pointless. It will do this while Bowie’s “Space Oddity” plays on loop inside the Tesla. Never change, Elon. Never change.
