Everyone in the tech game makes at least one Airplay Speaker these days. A lot of them have similar features: Airplay (obviously), 3.5mm jack for devices without Airplay, iTunes support, a decent speaker, too many buttons, a rechargeable battery and the ability to take your music anywhere. Unfortunately, most of them also look like crap–or like each other–and are made mostly of plastic. This Unmonday 4.3L Independent Ceramic Airplay Speaker is a departure from most of that. There are no visible, cheap-looking plastic parts, it’s made of a hexagonal ceramic housing. The speaker isn’t decent, it’s an awesome Alpair 10 full range driver. It’s expandable from mono, to stereo, to Dolby surround. There is only one button. To switch between the previously mentioned modes you rotate the hexagon to a different side. It’s also got a ten hour battery, a leather carrying case and the ability to play your music beautifully… wherever.
