Samsung has dropped yet another smatchwatch, the Gear S, into the ever growing sea of wearable tech. The new Samsung Gear S delivers a unique wearable experience with 3G connectivity. That means that even when outside the range of WiFi or a Bluetooth-connected phone, it can still send and receive messages or make calls. Sporting a curved 2-inch AMOLED screen, dual-core 1GHz CPU plus all the GPS, heart rate and motion sensors you’ve come to expect from wearables. Samsung will be shipping the Gear S beginning in October.
