Just like riding a tricycle seems a tad silly for a grown man, so does piloting a car one wheel short of a standard set. To be fair, that’s a thought we had before we came across the Vanderhall brand. Vanderhall builds beautiful, powerful cars that all happen to sport just three wheels. After the success of Venice, a vehicle they launched two years ago, the brand is back with Carmel, a luxurious little number with a wider cabin, front entry doors, and a removable canvas cap shade. Under the hood you’ll find a 1.5 4-cycle turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Inside the cabin is a Bluetooth enabled sound system, wooden steering wheel, and rustic tan v-tex upholstery that pairs wonderfully with the deep blue exterior. It’s the Vanderhall that will get noticed for more than just its unique wheel count.
