Steve McQueen has the Midas touch when it comes to things for guys. Persol sunglasses, Rolex watches, t-shirts, Ford Bullitt mustangs and Triumph motorcycles are just a few of the things guys everywhere lust after due (in no small part) to McQueen. He obviously loved all of that stuff, but he had a special place in his heart for Triumph motorcycles. Triumph is returning the favor by producing a special edition Steve McQueen motorcycle for 2012. Each member of the 1100 bike collection is based off of the Bonneville T100, individually numbered and painted to match the military style matte green finish of the bike McQueen insisted on riding during The Great Escape. A solo rider seat and black luggage rack have also been developed and fitted specially for this bike. If McQueen were alive, he’d love this bike.
