Triumph Built a 1,000hp Motorcycle to Break the Land Speed Record

With the exception of a brief 33-day period, iconic British motorcycle brand Triumph held the title of “World’s Fastest Motorcycle” from 1955 to 1970. Later this month, Triumph will return to its roots and the Bonneville Salt Flats with the goal of taking back the title with a 400 mph plus run in this insane new motorcycle. The motorcycle-rocket hybrid features two turbocharged Triumph Rocket III engines outputting a combined 1,000+ horsepower. It’s surrounded by a carbon Kevlar monocoque, and the rocket on two wheels measures 25.2′ long, 2′ wide and 3′ tall.  Here’s hoping, Triumph.
