Jakarta-based Thrive Motorcycles latest creation is Kuzuri, which translates to “wolverine” from Japanese, a name that’s more than fitting for this Harley Davidson XL1200 Sportster chopper from the expert builders at the brand. The build was kicked off almost two years ago when a friend who inquired about a Harley engine for a new build. The boys at Thrive happened to have a 2000 Harley XL1200 Sportster engine, which would become the V-twin that the rest of the bike was built around. That engine was fitted with a whole slew of custom bits from Thrive’s custom T/H/R/V parts arm before it made its way to its final home in a custom frame from Brondonolo Custom Garage. From the super clean and sleek profile to the interesting custom bits (taillight under the rear fender and custom skateboard wheel chain tensioner), the overall quality and attention to detail present in this chopper is nothing short of mind-blowing.
