Rome-based Lazzarini Design Studio has a way of taking classical ideas, adding modern touches and their own unique Italian flair to create iconic vehicles like the Vespa Scooter Jet Ski, Lazzarini Hover Coupe, and the Wayaland Floating City. The point being that the Lazzarini team is capable of drawing inspiration from the world and cultures around them to create the most interesting vehicles possible–like the swan-shaped Avanguardia Concept Yacht you see here. The “Vanguard” Yacht–that’s how it translates to English–is a 137 meter long yacht that features an auxiliary 16 meter boat that functions both as the head atop the neck of the swan, as well as a detachable tender vessel when it’s lowered into the water. In addition to that, the concept yacht will include dual helipads, a vehicle storage garage, five decks, 60-passenger capacity, completely-electric powertrain, pool, jet capsules, and, well–if we’re being completely honest–a bunch of other features most normal folks like us can’t ever afford because the projected cost is an estimated $500 million.
