It’s close to 20 years since we’ve seen an 8 Series for sale at a BMW dealer, but with this recently unveiled concept, it seems it might not be long until the high-end performance vehicle returns to streets and gated communities. What do we know? Not a damn lot, as BMW has not released any specs. We can ogle at the beauty of the Concept 8 Series, however. Upon first glance, it seems as if BMW took elements of their 7 Series, the i8, and even the old 8 Series and tossed them in a blender. Honestly, that car smoothie doesn’t sound bad at all. Inside you’ll find the fine touches you’d expect from a high-end model—carbon fiber seats wrapped in stunning leather, hand polished aluminum elements on the steering wheel, and red accent pieces that pop against the otherwise neutral color scheme. If all goes as planned, these will be in showrooms some time next year.
