The 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor is a performance beast that just so happens to be in the body of a production pickup. It does not have the kind of setup you’d expect from a pickup truck with it’s 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission to generate 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. If those incredible numbers and the aggressive styling aren’t enough–and with a base truck like that, why would they be?–Roush just unveiled the 2019 Roush Raptor upgrade kit. Wheel and tire upgrades from Roush 20″ bead protection off road wheels wrapped in 35″ BFGoodrich all-terrain T/A KO2 rubber. Roush axle-back exhaust with 5″ tips and a Chase Rack finished in corrosion-resistant black coating. There are also plenty of graphic, banner and logo upgrades, along with a custom gauge cluster, and those are just the base specs. If you want to talk options, there’s off-road lighting, a utility kit, an in-console safe and performance upgrades that will take it above 500 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque. It’s absolute insanity, and we love every bit of it.
