Ellaspede Scrambled Yamaha TTR250 ‘Blue Thunder’ Custom Motorcycle Build

Ellaspede Scrambled Yamaha TTR250 ‘Blue Thunder’ Custom Motorcycle Build

The end of the aughts Yamaha TTR250 Motorcycle is a small-bore dual-sport bike that’s as reliable and efficient as it is, well, if we’re being honest, unassuming and otherwise boring. This is most certainly not the case with the Ellaspede Scrambled Yamaha TTR250 ‘Blue Thunder’ Custom Motorcycle Build. Once the Brisbane-based bike shop Ellaspede got their hands on the donor bike, they replaced the stock bodywork, performance bits and exhaust pieces in favor of of a one-off cowl, vintage Yamaha enduro tank, Mikuni TM33 carb and Unifilter pod, along with a a custom exhaust. The upgrades don’t stop there because Blue Thunder has custom steel work throughout, Excel 19″ and 18″ rims wrapped in Shinko rubber, Motogadget indicators, and a custom paint job that combines white, electric blue and hand-lettering in ways we’ve never seen before. This is a bike that performs even better than it looks–which is saying something–and we’d still want to ride it every day.
