If we’re being completely honest, you could slap the “King of Cool” name on damn near anything and most of us would be interested in owning it because even more than four decades after his passing, Steve McQueen’s name has that kind of power. This is true whether you’re talking about sunglasses, watches, tees and motor vehicles like the iconic Ford Bullitt mustangs and Triumph motorcycles that bear his name. Triumph just rolled out their latest Steve McQueen Edition and, this time around, it’s based on a Scrambler 1200 that’s limited to just 1,000 numbered units with a unique style and specification that the man himself would have approved of. This motorcycle packs all the power and performance of an upgraded Triumph Scrambler 1200 (1200cc engine, Brembo M50 brakes, torque assist clutch, 6 separate riding modes, ride-by-wire throttle, full-LED lighting and multi-functional instruments with customizable display, keyless ignition, under-seat USB charging, and the list goes on and on) with the same kind of luminescent Forest Green paint job and associated accents we all know and love from McQueen’s previous vehicles.
