The electric motorcycle space is seeing more and more new design and engineering team enter the fray every year. There’s no denying that Zero is at the top of the list because they have mechanically proven, and beloved, bikes like the Zero FX Stealthfighter. But we’ve always had this nagging feeling that Zero wasn’t delivering as much aesthetically as they were mechanically. That’s where Huge Moto, the offshoot of San Francisco shop Huge Design, comes in. Zero donated an FXS to Bill Webb and his team at Huge, who took it upon themselves to create the Zero x Huge Moto Custom Supermoto Electric Motorcycle you see here. As Zero describes it, “Using design to refresh an already successful, mechanically proven base motorcycle was a core focus of this project. The modifications on the Zero SM Custom bolt right up to existing hard points, and use the stock powertrain, frame, dashboard, bars, and suspension.” So, in theory, you could turn your existing Zero FXS into one that looks like this if the parts from the kit ever go on sale. Here’s hoping this concept actually gets made.
