Tens of thousands of people are involved in cycling accidents a year, and Volvo wants to do something about that. In collaboration with Grey London and Albedo100, Volvo created LifePaint, a unique reflective safety spray that’s invisible during the day but turns bright white in the glare of headlights. The water-based reflective spray is designed to last approximately one week per application, so it won’t affect the color or surface of the bags, clothing, helmets, shoes, strollers and dog leashes it’s designed to make reflective. You get the same or better protection for night riding that you’d get from special clothing, lights or tape, but you can apply LifePaint to anything without affecting its appearance during the day.
