There’s just something about a Royal Enfield motorcycle that sets it apart from other British bike brands you see on the street. Their latest Interceptor was the perfect starting platform for Jakarta-based Thrive Motorcycles’ latest build the TXX Interceptor. As they told Bike EXIF, “We wanted to keep the DNA, but elaborate on it and find a new form for the bike.” That would ultimately mean stripping this brand new bike down and rebuilding it with a few key changes that would really make it a Thrive custom. The twin shock rear was switched to a monoshock and swingarm from a Suzuki GSX-R600 and the front got replica Ceriani GP38 forks. The clutch was upgraded to a hydraulic setup, and the brakes were upgraded to a dual disc and twin-piston Brembo setup. In order to showcase the engine, the exhaust was switched over to a two by two setup that was hand-bent. The look was completed with custom aluminum bodywork like the tank and bikini fairing, a new seat and wheels, Daylighter lamp and a fresh coat of paint. This bike is everything we want in a Royal Enfield custom. Check out the full build process and a look into what makes Thrive tick in the video above.
