Husqvarana and Kiska took the wraps off a pair of concept motorcycles at the EICMA show in Milan that somehow blend futuristic styling with the lightweight guts of a 1955 Silver Pilen. There are two 401 concepts: the Vit Pilen (“White Arrow”) and the Svart Pilen (“Black Arrow”), and both weigh under 300 pounds (by the way, that’s ridiculous). Both feature that classic aggressive headlamp with a light-up halo outline that grabs your attention when viewed from the front. The Svart Pilen is a bit more 0ff-road ready, while the Vit Pilen is in the mold of a trim and sexy street bike. Hey, if a bike is good enough for Steve McQueen, it’s good enough for us. We’ll hope to see these available in the future.
