Steve McQueen was tied to so many vehicles that it seems like a Steve McQueen ‘Something’ goes up for auction every other month. While all are interesting because of their ties to the actor/adrenaline junkie, some are more interesting than others. Perhaps one of the most intriguing is this 1915 Cyclone which is about to hit the block and is expected to fetch between $650,000-$750,000. Manufactured by the short-lived Joerns Motor Manufacturing Company, the Cyclone is a board track racer of which there are only a half dozen left in existence. Combine that with the fact that it was one of the rides in McQueen’s collection, and you have one sought-after bike. With 45 hp and a top speed of 111 mph, its onetime elite performance no longer holds true, but it’s not like you’re actually going to ride this thing if you bought it anyway.
