Ruamachines 1982 Ducati 600SL Pantah

An untouched vintage Ducati motorcycle is certainly something to covet, but when an old-school 1982 Ducati 600SL Pantah is placed in the hands of Armando Fontes and Victor Rocha at Portuguese moto shop Ruamachines, the result is sheer art. The bike was stripped down and then parts from other Ducati bikes were added including forks, swingarm, and front brakes. The original bike’s fairing and bodywork were left off for more of a cafe racer style. The engine was re-tuned, and then a new custom-built exhaust from Ruamachines was installed. Modern details like LED turn signals in front and back, as well as pushbuttons, contrast nicely with the classic Motogadget Motoscope speedometer. Ruamachines kept the Pantah’s wheels but gave them a fresh coat of gold paint and cold them in new Avon Roadrider tires. Finally, the Italian-flag colored and gently angular tank pops beautifully, and the leather and Alcantara seat leads to the tank’s colorway finished off in the tail section. It’s one incredible restomod that utterly transforms the bike.
