NXT Motors is a new European electric bike startup that was founded on the values of experience, excitement and environment. They just unveiled their first creation, the NXT Rage, at the international bike show Motorbeurs Utrecht in the Netherlands this past week. We know there’s a functional prototype, but unfortunately, there’s not much more information available about the actual construction or performance specs of the bikes. There are a few things we can glean from what the brand has published already. The NXT Rage will be a fully electric commuter with a rear monoshock, traditional forks, exposed LED headlight, tablet instrument panel, disc brakes and a more upright riding position that could actually be quite comfortable. It’s also been reported that the bike will be made with a lot of carbon fiber to reduce weight and increase efficiency. You can reserve your own NXT Rage for around $1,100, but there’s still no word on final pricing and when they’ll actually be available.
