The BMW R nineT and R nineT Scrambler are both gorgeous motorcycles, but that didn’t stop the Austrians from NCT Motorcycles from tearing one to pieces to build the BMW R nineT “Yellow Baron” Scrambler. What started as a brand new, showroom floor bike with less than a mile on the odometer turned into this, a magazine ready bike that perfectly blends modern convenience with vintage styling and custom detailing. The rear end is rebuilt with a new frame and perch. The tank is retrofitted from a BMW R100 RS. Handmade filter housings replaced the stock airbox. The stock headlight, front fender and handlebars remain intact, but they’ve been repainted and outfitted with end mirrors and turn signals. NCT Motorcycles also saw fit to replace the wheel and tire package, the stock exhaust and the otherwise uninteresting paint job with custom accessories and a paint job that will turn heads at the corner. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
