When Lexus released a cryptic teaser image for the flagship joining the LS sedan, LC coupe and LX SUV in the lineup, we assumed a car was on the way. Turns out that teaser image was for the upcoming LY 650, a 65.5-foot luxury yacht that will actually see the open ocean. The LY 650 is inspired by the Lexus L-finesse design language from its recent cars, but it will be built, sold and serviced by Wisconsin-based Marquis-Larson Boat Group. Inside that stunning dark bronze and piano black exterior you’ll find three staterooms and three bathrooms, along with gorgeously appointed common areas for dining and entertainment. Price hasn’t been revealed yet, but we’re willing to bet this yacht is going to be pretty steep. The first Lexus LY 650 is expected to be finished in 2019 before the yacht’s global debut.
