Motorcycle shops and the talented builders behind them have been building and re-building cafe racers for as long as we can remember. Kaspeed Custom Motorcycles is a family affair based out of Germany that has created a picture perfect representation of the classic cafe racer we see in our heads when we close our eyes. The motorcycle arrived to them almost completely disassembled, and after putting it back together to verify it was mechanically sound, they set out to create their own interpretation of a Japanese classic. Upgraded brakes for better stopping power. New tires for road use. Different forks, triple trees and fork boots. Customized seat. Modern electronics in the front and rear. Fresh paint or powder coat on the entire bike including the engine. The list goes on and on. Somehow, they managed to make this fantastic example of a cafe racer possible while still making sure it could be registered in Switzerland for the customer once it was complete. We can’t wait to see what rolls out of the Kaspeed Moto shop next.
