Classic cars hold a very special place in a man’s heart. Nothing will ever compare to the car you and your dad worked on when you were younger – regardless of how much it costs or how many cool gadgets and gizmos it has. Automotive technology has made great strides since the 70s (launch control anyone?), but technology will never be a substitute for nostalgia. On its own, a 1972 Green Chrysler Station Wagon is probably nothing to write home about. Unless of course it was your dad’s – or John Lennon’s. That’s right, this car was – at one point – John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s. On January 1, 2011, Braswell Galleries is auctioning off Lennon’s 1972 Chrysler Station Wagon. It’s probably going to sell for an obscene amount of money, but that’s to be expected when you could – in theory – sit in the same driver’s seat that Lennon did as he stealthily navigated New York.
