ECD Automotive Design–aka the people formerly known as East Coast Defender–need no introduction around these parts because they’ve been transforming vintage Land Rovers into modern pieces of functional art for almost as long as we’ve been cool ass cars and trucks. From Project Hard Drive and Project DiVA, to Project Viper and Project Huntress, the only constants with all these builds is the Land Rover base and an absolute, complete, absurd and almost unreasonable attention to detail and quality. Project Force lives up to all the ECD Automotive Design creations that have come before. Project Force is a custom D130 with an aggressive modern presence that’s purpose built and designed to tackle off-road adventures. Air-con winch bumper. Warn Industries winch. 2″ Fox Suspension lift. Fuji white full gloss paint and black accents. As if those modern tomb raider style upgrades weren’t enough, it’s powered by a 6.2L Chevy LS3 V8 and Borla Performance exhaust system, so in addition to being more powerful than anything you’d need from a daily driver, it sounds just as good.
