If ever there was a motorcycle mod that looked like it had been started by a mad scientist who died before it was completed, only to have its finishing touches handled by his angry welder nephew, it’s the Urban Fighter. Though it may look like it has the aerodynamics of a toolshed, the look is totally intentional. Droog Moto specializes in the two-wheeled melding of modern and industrial design to create unique bikes that look like nothing else on the road. The base moto here is the Kawasaki Z1000 naked bike, but the finished product looks nothing like the original. More angular and dark, the Urban fighter gets a custom, hard-edged fuel tank, a flat fairing with angled slit headlights, a reworked rear subframe with a black leather skateboard seat, and wheels and tires that look like they came off a construction front-loader. But don’t be misled by the iron fist looks because the nimble chassis and powerful engine from the root bike mean this thing will pivot and power through all day long.
