Everyone knows Deus Ex Machina makes awesome custom motorcycles, but their latest creation, Red Pill, is one of our absolute favorites. Builder Jeremy Tagand was approached with the seemingly simple task of “surf bike please, based on my W650, low and lean.” Red Pill delivers on the request in spades. The style cues come from the Deus “Gicleur Noir,” but with the amount of other mods to the bike you’ll have a hard time noticing the shared DNA. The air box was completely removed in favor of re-jetted carbs to dual K&N filters. Custom headers from Japan connect to a Foran reverse cone muffler for performance and a perfect exhaust note. But the biggest addition to the bike are the bespoke Deus quick release board racks designed to perfectly get your surf board from home to the shore… or even across the country.
