Denny Is The Bike Of The Future

Denny Is The Bike Of The Future

There are almost too many awesome things about the Teague x Sizemore collaboration bike, dubbed Denny, to list, but we’re going to do it anyway. Front frame webbed storage area for coffee, six packs, books and bags. Minimal fenders with rubber bristles for water disruption and keeping you dry. Turn signals. Auto on headlight. Reactive brake lights. Automatic gear shifts. Electric assist for hill climbs. Onboard computer. Gorgeous design. These things are all part of the reason that the collaboration between these two shops won The Bike Design Project, but none of these innovations are why we absolutely love this bike. Pay close attention to Denny’s handlebars. The handlebars are a complete rectangle. More importantly, the handlebars are a complete rectangle that separates from the bike and functions as a self-contained u-lock. If you want to quick lock, you don’t even have to take them off. Why didn’t someone think of this sooner? Denny will be available later this year from a partnership with Fuji Bikes.
