Brabus Made the Mercedes G65 G-Wagen Even Better

With over 600 horsepower, almost 750 lb-ft of torque and a 0-60 time that was pretty damn impressive for an SUV, the Mercedes G65 G-Wagen is one hell of a ride—unless you work for performance Benz tuner Brabus. Brabus made the Mercedes G65 G-Wagen even better by taking the V-12 and turning it into the world’s fastest off-roader. The Brabus 900 (so named for the amount of horsepower the 6.3L V-12 now outputs) includes upgrades in almost every area, ranging from the larger displacement and a billet steel crankshaft to a custom intake and a wider track. The black on black on black theme that Brabus is known for continues with this limited model, which also meant adding different fenders, spoilers, lights, lamps and wheels. There’s no reason we can think of that anyone would need to be able to hit 60 mph from a standstill in under four seconds on their way to the Brabus 900’s top speed of 168 mph, but that’s not really the point. The Brabus 900 is limited to a production run of 10 and will be officially unveiled at the IAA show in Frankfurt this month.
