Recently unveiled at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2017 on the shores of Lake Como, the BMW Motorrad Concept Link is “the BMW Group’s vision of zero-emission urban mobility on two wheels.” Inspired by the BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100 Concept Motorcycle—and deserving a place in the collection of cool concept bikes—the BMW Motorrad Concept Link is a new age bike with angular lines, a low-slung profile, contrasting paint schemes and a BMW E-drive setup with reverse gear that’s as fun to look at as it will be to ride. All things considered, it does appear to be a concept vehicle with a bit of an identity crisis just waiting for a Michael Bay movie to be built around it—Is it a motorcycle? Is it a scooter? Will it ever actually be produced in a form that looks anything like this?—but we’re willing to bet that BMW has some series plans for the platform once they’re ready to share more details about the specifications, availability and production schedule.
