Alpha Centauri Hydroplane Concept

Alpha Centauri is a new British brand that just got into the tender (the boat you use to get from your larger boat to the shore) game with the Alpha Centauri Hydroplane Superyacht Tender Concept. Designed and built to be a “Lamborghini of the Seas,” this almost 30-foot-long superboat has a 750 horsepower, 9.5-liter Chevy V8 that lets the demon on the water hit 60 knot. They’re impressive numbers that will result in one helluva wild ride on the open water, but we are just as impressed with the overall Batman-style design of the entire concept. We swear we had a toy just like this boat growing up (it also transformed into a jet, but that’s not an available option from Alpha Centauri… yet), and it’s even more impressive seeing it come to life. Even if you have a superyacht and a whole pool of doubloons you’re looking to spend on a tender, this is only a concept at this point.
