1998 McLaren F1 LM-Specification

1998 McLaren F1 LM-Specification

Despite taking home top honors at Le Mans in ’95 and hitting over 240 mph at the Ehra-Lessien Proving Ground in Germany, the F1, believe it or not, was designed as a road car. This F1 is chassis 073, a vehicle built in 1998 that comes with the desirable “LM Specification,” meaning McLaren Special Operations went to town on the road-ready beast and dropped an uber-powerful LM-specification engine in it. That engine? Yeah, it helps deliver 680 hp at 7,800 rpm; and this is one of two that have the LM-spec engine inside. This F1 also features larger radiators, a revised nose with additional wing vents, and an orange metallic paint job.  Many call it the finest driving F1 in existence. You can call it yours, if you have the cash.
