Prior to everyone’s love affair with old school Broncos, the classic Jeep and restored Land Rovers—you know, back when vintage SUVs were still called trucks—there was another vehicle on the market from agricultural and construction vehicle giant International Harvester that was just as cool, the International Scout. Atlanta-based Motorcar Studio has a restored 1978 International Harvester Scout II that’s one of the finest restored and well-equipped versions of the classic that we’ve ever laid eyes on. Powered by a 345ci V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission and fitted with power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning, this has all the vintage style and modern convenience you want. Outside of the fact that it sits on Nitto wrapped MT Deegan 17″ powder-coat wheels with a four-inch lift kit, it’s also relatively unassuming and incredibly clean with that desert tan and black paint job.
