This rug does not tie the room together. In fact, it seemingly opens up a portal to another world when you drop it on your floor. The Void Rug is the latest design from Scott Jarvie, a product designer from Scotland, and it’s here to give your guests a passing panic attack. When viewed at the right angle, the rug makes it look like there’s a big, gaping hole in your floor. Available in both a circular version and a rectilinear version, the rug is hand tufted and made from 100% merino wool. And since it’s sharp enough to work in any contemporary home, it will still look good after your eyes adjust.
