Vintage Industrial has made some badass tables before, but nothing like their newest creation. The Vintage Industrial Cant Table defies gravity. Okay, so it doesn’t technically defy gravity, but the clever design that pushes the boundaries of conventional wisdom uses a cantilever design on only one side to make the table appear like it’s ready to tip over at any minute. The 96″ x 40″ top is available in both polished and bare stainless and is grounded with a heavy plate steel base that, when coupled with the cantilever setup, prevents the table from ruining your day and your floor. It almost looks as if something is reaching up out of the floor and grabbing the sloped table (it’s close to paper thin on one side and gradually increases in size as it reaches the steel base mount) to levitate it in the room. One thing’s for sure—if you shell out the cash for one of these tables, you better be prepared to step up your dinner party game because you don’t want to be eclipsed by your awesome new table.
