From the profile view, the Tern Perch looks like a shiny % sign. That might seem irrelevant, but it’s a whole new level of minimalism when it comes to wall mounts for your bike. The single piece of 5052 aluminum that it was fabricated from can support up to 40lbs, but it’s so minimal that you might forget it’s there when your bike isn’t on it. There are no straps, latches or cables you have to worry about, and it will work with bikes without horizontal top tubes because your seatpost is the only part the Perch touches. Just in case you were worried about scratching up your paint job, the two parts that do touch are rubberized. It also has slots for a lock, helmet and the special reflective bike jacket. Tern even threw in wood and concrete mounting hardware to make sure nothing will happen to your bike, or your walls, when you hang it like art.
