There are two types of coffee drinkers these days, those that drop in a K-Cup and hurry about their day, and those that take a bit more time and spend a bit more money to get a really great cup. For the latter, the beans from Stumptown almost always hit the spot. The latest offering from the hip roaster is their Panama Duncan Estate Mesh 15 coffee. Mesh 15 is the measure of the wire size used to sort the beans. It matters in this case because only peaberries can get through, and they result in a better, more uniform roast. What does all that mean to you? A damn tasty cup of coffee that smacks of butterscotch, lime and toasted filbert. (You know it’s good when you have to look up one of the things it’s supposed to taste like.)
